Its particular topography is alternated between the green features of the Monti Lattari places behind the sea and the lush tufa terraces that progressively reach the offshoots of the Amalfi Coast. Sorrento is the famous city who gives its name to the territory, and is the best known and visited tourist centre of the peninsula; the picturesque port of Marina Piccola is an important reference point that, thanks to numerous services, links the city centre with Ischia, Capri, Positano and Naples. Exactly on the tip of the coast, we find two magnificient protected reserves, which we could identify as the green lung of the coast: the natural area of Jeranto Bay and the marine nature reserve Punta Campanella. Punta Campanella
A protected marine reserve, located between Massa Lubrense e Positano. Greeks built here a temple dedicated to the Goddess Athena.
Our organized tour: the excursion includes an evocative cruise along the Amalfi Coast, passing by Positano and the spectacular branch of Punta Campanella that, at west, closes the Gulf of Salerno. After a panoramic break to admire the amazing Bay of Jeranto, we will land in Sorrento where you will have free time to visit the town. Afterward we will continue our navigation to Capri island, with related break at the Faraglioni, possible swimming break at Green Grotto and Blue Grotto or free-time to visit the island.
